This is our Team!

It has been decided that our Team members will take turns writing blogs for our office. Our Office Admin (Seanna) says we can write about anything we want – doesn’t have to be about real estate. I thought ‘hmmmm as this is the first blog for the office why not use it to introduce our Team?’

Our Fearless Leader, Denis Lord, is our Broker. Denis started as a Realtor in 2005, worked very hard and became very successful. Then he stepped away from the biz for a couple of years to pursue other interests. Alas, the Coldwell Banker Hinton office was looking for someone to buy it and the Realtors (Pat, Dennis, Melissa, Marina) called him. Of course, as is his way, Denis jumped into his white Dodge and charged back to Hinton to rescue his fellow Realtors, made a deal, bought the office and has not looked back since. Besides leading his Team, Denis has joined the Hinton Rotary Club and is enjoying working with Rotary in completing various tasks around town with other Rotarians. Denis continues to work hard for his clients and is still enjoying the success that comes with hard work.

Pat and Dennis Olver – Pat has been in the biz for a number of years as well (2005). Then she convinced her hubby, Dennis (yes that’s Dennis with two “n’s”) to join her in 2012. Pat and Dennis raised their family in Hinton and together they have worked very hard to build their brand. Pat and Dennis have a funny story to tell about most situations – usually from funny Pat’s experiences. Both Pat and Dennis are involved in their church, they both work hard and enjoy being Realtors.

Next we have Melissa Hicks – she has been a Realtor since 2011. Melissa is a lot of fun to work with, she is a very warm and funny gal (that’s warm and funny – not fuzzy). Melissa has two children that still live at home together with her hubby (Brian) and her Mom and Dad. Melissa is a busy lady that is very dedicated to her family as well as her clients and she works very hard.

Marina Carl is next in line. Marina started as the Admin at the front desk at Coldwell Banker. In 2013 she decided to get her license. Marina is involved with the Coats for Kids program in Hinton, works with the Chamber of Commerce, and sits as a Director for the Alberta West Realtors Association. Marina is a ray of sunshine in the office and she is one busy lady. Marina loves her job and works very hard.

Our office youngin’ is Roxanne Jahnke. She has been a Realtor since 2017 although she was already familiar with the housing market as she and her husband own Jareth Homes. Roxanne was born and raised in Hinton. She has three handsome boys at home – so she is also a very busy lady. Roxanne has joined the Hinton Rotary Club and is enjoying that. Roxanne works hard and loves being a Realtor.

Our newest Team member is Holly Paradis. We are all working hard to ensure that Holly gets the support needed to learn the biz and how to look after her clients. She is a lovely lady and we are all very excited to have her on our Team. Holly is looking forward to meeting new clients as she builds her business.

Next is me, Debbie Workun. I have worked as a Realtor since 2010. I was born in Hinton so know the community quite well. I appreciate folks with a good sense of humour and I enjoy doing volunteer work. I am often in the office breaking the rules (I like to sing and dance – not that I am any good at either task) as my Broker says I am a bit of a Rebel! I love being a Realtor – I enjoy meeting people and I work very hard for my clients.

Last but not least, is our Office Administrator – Seanna Dallaire. Like Roxanne and myself, Seanna was born and raised in Hinton. Seanna keeps track of all of us – I’m sure her job is the most difficult in the office. She is very efficient and does manage to keep all of us on track and heading in the right direction. She is very bright and terrific to work with. Fortunately for all of us, Seanna has a great sense of humour.

So now you know all of us - between us we have many years of experience in the real estate industry (about 53 years collectively) and are all very familiar with our lovely Town. We are all very proud of our community and work towards making Hinton a better place to live. We are always happy to meet new clients and to reconnect with existing clients. Our Team will work hard for you!
